1 Kings 22 (New King James Version)

Micaiah Warns Ahab

1 Now three years passed without war between Syria and Israel.

2 Then it came to pass, in the third year, that Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went down to visit the king of Israel.

3 And the king of Israel said to his servants, “Do you know that Ramoth in Gilead is
ours, but we hesitate to take it out of the hand of the king of Syria?”

4 So he said to Jehoshaphat, “Will you go with me to fight at Ramoth Gilead?”
Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, “I am as you are, my people as your people, my horses as your horses.”

5 Also Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, “Please inquire for the word of the LORD yahwah today.”

6 Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said to them, “Shall I go against Ramoth Gilead to fight, or shall I refrain?”
So they said, “Go up, for the Lord will deliver it into the hand of the king.”

7 And Jehoshaphat said, “Is there not still a prophet of the LORD YAWAH here, that we may inquire of Him?”[a]

8 So the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat,

There is still one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may inquire of the LORD;

but I hate him, because he does not prophesy good concerning me, but evil.”

And Jehoshaphat said, “Let not the king say such things!”

9 Then the king of Israel called an officer and said, “Bring Micaiah the son of Imlah quickly!”

10 The king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, having put on their robes, sat each on his throne, at a threshing floor at the entrance of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before them.

11 Now Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah had made horns of iron for himself; and he said, “Thus says the LORD: ‘With these you shall gore the Syrians until they are destroyed.’”

12 And all the prophets prophesied so, saying, “Go up to Ramoth Gilead and prosper, for the LORD yahwah will deliver it into the king’s hand.”

13 Then the messenger who had gone to call Micaiah spoke to him, saying,

(lie to the king about what the lord yawah says to you)

“Now listen, the words of the prophets with one accord encourage the king. Please, let your word be like the word of one of them, and speak encouragement.”

14 And Micaiah said,

As the LORD YAWAH lives, whatever the LORD says to me, that I will speak.”

15 Then he came to the king; and the king said to him,

“Micaiah, shall we go to war against Ramoth Gilead, or shall we refrain?”

And he answered him,

“Go and prosper, for the LORD will deliver it into the hand of the king!”

16 So the king said to him,

“How many times shall I make you swear that you tell me nothing but the truth in the name of the LORD?”

17 Then he said,

“I saw all Israel scattered on the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd. And the LORD said, ‘These have no master. Let each return to his house in peace.’”

18 And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “Did I not tell you he would not prophesy good concerning me, but evil?”

19 Then Micaiah said,

Therefore hear the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on His throne, and all the host of heaven standing by, on His right hand and on His left.

20 And the LORD said, ‘Who will persuade Ahab to go up, that he may fall at Ramoth Gilead?’ So one spoke in this manner, and another spoke in that manner.

21 Then a spirit came forward and stood before the LORD, and said, ‘I will persuade him.’

22 The LORD said to him,

‘In what way?’ So he said, ‘I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’

And the LORD YAWAH said, ‘You shall persuade him, and also prevail. Go out and do so.’
23 Therefore look! The LORD has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these prophets of yours, and the LORD has declared disaster against you.”

24 Now Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near and struck Micaiah on the cheek, and said,

Which way did the spirit from the LORD go from me to speak to you?”

25 And Micaiah said,

Indeed, you shall see on that day when you go into an inner chamber to hide!”

26 So the king of Israel said, “Take Micaiah, and return him to Amon the governor of the city and to Joash the king’s son;

27 and say, ‘Thus says the king: “Put this fellow in prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and water of affliction, until I come in peace.”’”

28 But Micaiah said,

If you ever return in peace, the LORD has not spoken by me.”

And he said, “Take heed, all you people!”

6 “Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.

You Will Know Them by Their Fruits

15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?

17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.

18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.

19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

Our Father YAWAH in heaven,

Hallowed be Your name.

10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.

13 And do not lead us into temptation, (a time of testing)

But deliver us from the evil one. (deception)

For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen

1 “Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. 3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

I Never Knew You

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Yawah Lord JESUS,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father YAWAH in heaven.

22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then

I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

LIVING A SPIRIT-FILLED LIFE

PT VIII

LED BY THE SPIRIT HI

Romans 8:14

-For all who are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God.

Galatians 5:16-18

OBJECTIVE LEADERSHIP OF THE SPIRIT

The objective leadership ofthe Holy Spirit is His guidance through the written word of God.

This is the primary means ofthe Holy Spirit's leadership.

SUBJECTIVE LEADERSHIP OF THE SPIRIT

The subjective leadership ofthe Spirit is the work ofthe Spirit to direct us in issues that are not plainly spelled out in the Word of God.

John 16:13 -"But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes,

He will guide you into all the truth ; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come."

HE IS SENT TO GUIDE.

Romans 8:16 -The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of
God.

Acts 5:32 -"And we are witnesses of these things; and so is the Holy Spirit, whom
God has given to those who obey Him."

I John 5:4-12

THE PRIMARY WAY OF THE SPIRIT'S SUBJECTIVE LEADING IS THE INWARD WITNESS.

It is that inner knowing, that inner communication that takes place within our hearts.

Perhaps you may know it as the still, small voice; perhaps you know it as intuition or a nudging.

It is the inner working, the inner influence, the inner prompting ofthe Holy Spirit through the regenerated spirit ofthe believer.

John 7:38-39 -"He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, "From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water."

But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus ..was not yet glorified.

Proverbs 20:27 -The spirit of man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the innermost parts of his being.

Jeremiah 17:9 -The heart is more deceitful than all else and is desperately sick; who can understand it?

Ga!~tians 5:17 -For the flesh sets lis desire against the Spii'it, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please.

ALL SUBJECTIVE LEADINGS MUST BE JUDGED!

Any experience or subjective leading we believe we are receiving must be evaluated and tested.

HOW DO I JUDGE THESE LEADINGS?

I. BY THE SCRIPTURE,

II. DOES IT PRODUCE REAL PEACE?

Colossians 3:15 -Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful.

John 14:27 -"Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful."

III. DOES IT GLORIFY CHRIST?

IV. SEEK WISE COUNSEL.

Proverbs 24:3-6 Proverbs18:1 -He who separates himself seeks his own desire, he quarrels against all sound wisdom.

Hebrews 13:17

what ever training or lack of training determines your scripture point of view

what ever training or lack of training determines your scripture point of view.

yes ... in the religious world... what ever training or lack of training determines your scripture point of view.\

as alvin glombowski and i have discussed.. in 1869.. it became LAW that infalibility was required... prior to that.. it was left up to the discretion of the "holy Ghost"

The roman catholic church teaches that : YOU get the Holy Spirit when they sprinkle water on your 4-head as a "baby baptism"..

Hmmm is this true.. it would seem that if the 3rd identy of the God head .. would manafest ..it would be noticeable..

it is noticeable in the Penecostial church's when there is a manafestation..Hmmm what = does that tell u ???

in the summer of 1969 alvin G, and Maureen barledge and i, went thru the Charasmetic "liffe in the word" 6 week seminar .. and as AL says.. ( and he was right.. "nothing happened" darn)

this 2 year time period.. maureen barledge and i went to the "month end sales" in detroit.. and she taught me how to get the upper hand.. "smile , grinn, and shake those big tit's ..

it got her.. better deal, with this method.. and Alvin G.. got frustrated at all the stuff she brought home..

as he said.. she had "every nook and cranny" full of stuff .. he didn't need!

she was training me in the art of business and deceite.. (not like i was trained at the company thermotron)

any way...maureen and i pal''ed around like this until i graduated from my second community college.. and headed up to kalamazoo michigan to WMU..

and there.. i met thru.. another .. REV. LOUIS MILLER.. from benton harbor ..
and his SPIRITUALIST church..

i introducesd Alvin glombowski.. and maureen .. to him.. and

THEY DIDN'T HAVE A CLUE!!

because off the lack of training and teaching in the roman catholic church..

But at least .. when the familar spirits showed up.. it was evident..

not like the lack .. off spiritual training with the class of "Life in the Spirit" that was offered by the roman catholic church..

and 30 years later i went to ST margrets of scotland in st clair shores..

and it was worse... now... a tired out charasmetic .. group..

Gee. where is the Holy Spirit??

but the Roman catholic church... has DOCTRUNE !!!

AND WE BELIEVE IT... OR .. YOU ARE EX-COMMUNITED...!!!

Avoid Wicked Customs

Deuteronomy 18

9 “When you come into the land which the LORD your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations.

10 There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer,

11 or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead.

12 For all who do these things are an abomination to the LORD, and because of these abominations the LORD your God drives them out from before you.

13 You shall be blameless before the LORD your God.

14 For these nations which you will dispossess listened to soothsayers and diviners; but as for you, the LORD your God has not appointed such for you.

this applies for all those deceived roman catholics who pray to saint's (familar spirits) and the virgine MARY .. demon..

Deuteronomy 13

Punishment of Apostates

1 “If there arises among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams, and he gives you a sign or a wonder,

2 and the sign or the wonder comes to pass, of which he spoke to you, saying, ‘Let us go after other gods’—which you have not known—‘and let us serve them,

3 you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams,

for the LORD your God is testing you

to know whether you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

4 You shall walk after the LORD your God and fear Him, and

keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him.

5 But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has spoken in order to turn you away from the LORD your God,

who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of bondage,

to entice you from the way in which the LORD your God commanded you to walk.

So you shall put away the evil from your midst.

unless it is approved by the roman catholic church.. Hmmmm

Hilkiah Finds the Book of the Law

2 Chronicles 34 (New King James Version)

8 In the eighteenth year of his reign, when he had purged the land and the temple, he sent Shaphan the son of Azaliah, Maaseiah the governor of the city, and Joah the son of Joahaz the recorder, to repair the house of the LORD his God.

14 Now when they brought out the money that was brought into the house of the LORD, Hilkiah the priest found the Book of the Law of the LORD given by Moses.

15 Then Hilkiah answered and said to Shaphan the scribe, “I have found the Book of the Law in the house of the LORD.” And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan

. 16 So Shaphan carried the book to the king, bringing the king word, saying, “All that was committed to your servants they are doing.

17 And they have gathered the money that was found in the house of the LORD, and have delivered it into the hand of the overseers and the workmen.”

18 Then Shaphan the scribe told the king, saying, “Hilkiah the priest has given me a book.”

And Shaphan read it before the king.

19 Thus it happened,

when the king heard the words of the Law, that he tore his clothes.

20 Then the king commanded Hilkiah, Ahikam the son of Shaphan, Abdon[c] the son of Micah, Shaphan the scribe, and Asaiah a servant of the king, saying,

21 “Go, inquire of the LORD for me, and for those who are left in Israel and Judah,

concerning the words of the book that is found; for great is the wrath of the LORD that is poured out on us,

because our fathers have not kept the word of the LORD, to do according to all that is written in this book.”

Hosea 4

God’s Charge Against Israel

5 Therefore you shall stumble in the day;

The prophet also shall stumble with you in the night;

And I will destroy your mother.

6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

Because you have rejected knowledge,

I also will reject you from being priest for Me;

Because you have forgotten the law of your God,

In the criminal justice system, police, prosecutors, judges, and the jury are often able to exercise a degree of discretion in deciding who will be subject ...

John 10

The Shepherd and His Flock

19At these words the Jews were again divided.

20Many of them said, "He is demon-possessed and raving mad. Why listen to him?"

21But others said, "These are not the sayings of a man possessed by a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?"

25Jesus answered, "I did tell you, but you do not believe. The miracles I do in my Father's name speak for me, 26but you do not believe because you are not my sheep.

27My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

28I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.

hello pat..

can u tell me what are the healing manafestations that jesus/holy ghost instructed you to perform?

and what are the 3 most interesting .. prophetics .. event.. that you spoke .. at his instruction?

Acts 1
Jesus Taken Up Into Heaven

7 He said to them:

"It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority.

8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses

in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

25"All this I have spoken while still with you.

26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

Numbers 11; Numbers 29 (New King James Version)

27 And a young man ran and told Moses, and said, “Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp.”

28 So Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, one of his choice men, answered and said,

“Moses my lord, forbid them!”

29 Then Moses said to him,

“Are you zealous for my sake?

Oh, that all the LORD’s people were prophets and that the LORD would put His Spirit upon them!”

30 And Moses returned to the camp, he and the elders of Israel.

John 16

1"All this I have told you so that you will not go astray.

2They will put you out of the synagogue;

in fact, a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering a service to God.

3They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me.

4 I have told you this, so that when the time comes you will remember that I warned you. I did not tell you this at first because I was with you.

The Work of the Holy Spirit

On Tue, May 19, 2009 at 8:06 AM, Patrick Miron wrote:

Friends here is another very brief discussion, that is quite visible today.

FROM CAF...
=una fides;5176343]

I agree that Vatican II requires religious submission.

It was a pastoral council dealing with pastoral issues.

It did contain a dogmatic constitution that did not have any definitive definitions but was just a summary of Church teachings.

I'm NOT saying Vatican II was not infallible and therefore can be ignored or disobeyed.

But what I am saying is that I do not believe it to be completely safeguarded against error.

I am saying that because the wording is often vague and difficult to understand, as I've pointed out on here earlier.

As with approaching Scripture, if I can't understand how to verses may seem to correlate, then I seek to find an answer.

In a similar way, I'm trying to reconcile pre and post Vatican II teachings on the matter of NSOC.

So far, no one on here has provided me with an answer to how to understand the pre-Vatican II documents in the same sense that they had always been understood and then taking that understanding then applying it to the CCC passage and other such writings in question.
Dear friends in Christ,

Perhaps what is being overlooked here is the fact that it is NOT ONLY "Infallible Teachings" that must be accepted, OBEYRD and lived, all though some would have us believe such dribble.

The Code of Canon Law is the long held position of the Catholic Church on this isssue.

It is exceedingly clear and to the point. as clear as mud

Can. 749 §1.

By virtue of his office, the Supreme Pontiff possesses infallibility in teaching when as the supreme pastor and teacher of all the Christian faithful, who strengthens his brothers and sisters in the faith, he proclaims by definitive act that a doctrine of faith or morals is to be held.§2.

The college of bishops also possesses infallibility in teaching when the bishops gathered together in an ecumenical council exercise the magisterium as teachers and judges of faith and morals who declare for the universal Church that a doctrine of faith or morals is to be held definitively;

or when dispersed throughout the world but preserving the bond of communion among themselves and with the successor of Peter and teaching authentically together with the Roman Pontiff matters of faith or morals,

they agree that a particular proposition is to be held definitively.§3.

No doctrine is understood as defined infallibly unless this is manifestly evident.

Can. 750 §1. A person must believe with divine and Catholic faith all those things contained in the word of God, written or handed on, that is, in the one deposit of faith entrusted to the Church,

and at the same time proposed as divinely revealed either by the solemn magisterium of the Church or by its ordinary and universal magisterium which is manifested by the common adherence of the Christian faithful under the leadership of the sacred magisterium;

therefore all are bound to avoid any doctrines whatsoever contrary to them.

§2.

Each and every thing which is proposed definitively by the magisterium of the Church concerning the doctrine of faith and morals,

that is, each and every thing which is required to safeguard reverently and to expound faithfully the same deposit of faith, is also to be firm-ly embraced and retained;

therefore, one who rejects those propositions which are to be held definitively is opposed to the doctrine of the Catholic Church.

Can. 752 Although not an assent of faith, a religious submission of the intellect and will must be given to a doctrine which the Supreme Pontiff or the college of bishops declares concerning faith or morals when they exercise the authentic magisterium, even if they do not intend to proclaim it by definitive act;

therefore, the Christian faithful are to take care to avoid those things which do not agree with it.

Can. 753

Although the bishops who are in communion with the head and members of the college, whether individually or joined together in conferences of bishops or in particular councils,

do not possess infallibility in teaching,

they are authentic teachers and instructors of the faith for the Christian faithful entrusted to their care;

the Christian faithful are bound to adhere with religious submission of mind to the authentic magisterium of their bishops.

Can. 754 All the Christian faithful are obliged to observe the constitutions and decrees which the legitimate authority of the Church issues in order to propose doctrine and to proscribe erroneous opinions,

particularly those which the Roman Pontiff or the college of bishops puts forth.[/COLOR]

Does this clarify for you the debate at hand? (ya sure buddy) as clear as mud

God willing, it should. Love and prayers,Pat

The Man Who Taught His Asshole to Talk

The Man Who Taught His Asshole to Talk

Tags: Dr Benway, Naked Lunch, William Burroughs
(aka “The Talking Asshole Routine” from Naked Lunch)
William S. Burroughs

Did I ever tell you about the man who taught his asshole to talk? His whole abdomen would move up and down you dig farting out the words. It was unlike anything I ever heard.

This ass talk had sort of a gut frequency. It hit you right down there like you gotta go. You know when the old colon gives you the elbow and it feels sorta cold inside, and you know all you have to do is turn loose?

Well this talking hit you right down there, a bubbly, thick stagnant sound, a sound you could smell.

This man worked for a carnival you dig, and to start with it was like a novelty ventriliquist act.

Real funny, too, at first. He had a number he called “The Better ‘Ole” that was a scream, I tell you. I forget most of it but it was clever.

Like, “Oh I say, are you still down there, old thing?”

“Nah I had to go relieve myself.”

After a while the ass start talking on its own.

He would go in without anything prepared and his ass would ad-lib and toss the gags back at him every time.

Then it developed sort of teeth-like little raspy in-curving hooks and started eating.

He thought this was cute at first and built an act around it, but the asshole would eat its way through his pants and start talking on the street, shouting out it wanted equal rights. It would get drunk, too, and have crying jags nobody loved it and it wanted to be kissed same as any other mouth.

Finally it talked all the time day and night, you could hear him for blocks screaming at it to shut up, and beating it with his fist, and sticking candles up it, but nothing did any good and the asshole said to him: “It’s you who will shut up in the end.

Not me. Because we dont need you around here any more. I can talk and eat and shit.”

After that he began waking up in the morning with a transparent jelly like a tadpole’s tail all over his mouth.
